Where I did a live visit recently, they have something called “CQC Ready” whereby all of their work is organised under those domains of caring, responsive, effective, safe, well-led. And so everything they do they are constantly tracking back and saying “is this us being caring?”, “is this us being responsive?”…I thought that was a fantastic example of how we can consistently provide very high quality care as business as usual so that actually the CQC coming is just an opportunity for us to say “here you go - this is what we’re doing and its completely aligned to what you are looking for anyway.” I thought that was a really neat way of running a GP practice
